You're Invited! March 19th Scrub Island BVI
It's true, we have made landfall at Scrub Island before. But a lot has changed since we reviewed Scrub Island Resort. For one, the resort was not technically open the last time through. We were granted early access and had a chance to get a preview of one of the newest jems in the BVIs for travelers and sailors. It's also achieved ranking on Conde Nast top 30 Caribbean resorts! Along the way to international recognition, the resort has expanded. Full marina services for boaters and charter sailors, upscale multi-story villas for the land and beach set, and a brand new deli and market for everyone! Having not been back on-island since that early review, our crew is eager to get back.
But this time we're inviting you to join us!
On March 19th come meet Capt. Kev and the Charter Advisors Crew, grab a free drink (while they last!), and explore Scrub Island Resort. Your might even be lucky enough to walk away with a free t-shirt as honorary crew member, a Sailing Badassador!
To make it even more interesting we're bringing the brand new VOYAGE Charters VOYAGE 600, the biggest charter bareboat anywhere in the Virgin Islands (possibly the biggest in the West Indies!). A private island resort and a huge sailing cat! It doesn't get much better than this (did we mention the two level pools and the waterside?).
Join us from noon to whenever the cooler's empty on March 19!
But that doesn't mean you have to leave when the beer runs out. As our guest, with dinner ashore at Scrub Island you'll get a marina slip for the night complete with shore power for free!
Remember the invasion, err, party begins at noon! Ready your crews, dinghy over from the moorings at Marina Cay, pull into the Scrub Island Marina, or hop the Scrub Island ferry from Trellis bay (departs on the 45 of every hour and free for our readers). No matter how you get there, just get there! All this beer isn't going to drink itself. <\p>
Scrub Island Resort
Two pools, water slide, market provisioning, awesome guest rooms and villas, plus upscale and casual dining. Free ferry from Trellis Bay ferry dock. <\p>
Scrub Island Marina
Tour the brand new, one of a kind, 60-foot VOYAGE 600 Catamaran, grab a drink, have some pizza, and meet Capt. Kev and the Charter Advisors Crew. <\p>
After the party sail on or stick around for an awesome dinner ashore, a free slip in the marina, and live local music!
The Next Day
Those that stay the evening at Scrub Island, Marina Cay or Trellis Bay are welcome to join us for a flotilla to either Jost Van Dyke or the North Sound of Virgin Gorda the following morning. Both are among our favorite anchorages in the BVIs!
Big sailing yachts, private island party, and a flotilla led by Capt Kev. Now it really doesn't get better than this!
