Questions & Answers
My little ones are excited for their first "boat trip," is there anything we can do in advance to help "set the stage"?
Talk to your kids before you go. A month out or more. If they are young, tell them stories about sailing at bedtime. Make up a story based on your trip to get to the yacht and another story about life sailing aboard. Include each leg of your vacation that will be new to them in your stories (taxi, plane, airport, security line, etc). Make them fun and help set the stage for what they will experience. When they begin the journey they will know what is coming and have fun participating and recognizing things from your stories. And, we have case studies to prove it!
